Power Up Dispersion

Advanced Dispersion Technology

Scientifically proven, multi-award winning LipiSperse® is an advanced cold water dispersion technology (CWD). Allowing solid/powder lipophilic active ingredients such as curcumin, resveratrol and berberine and palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) otherwise relatively low bioavailability and poor solubility in water, to be easily dispersed in cold water, thereby increasing their bioavailability and uptake in the body.

LipiSperse®’s superior performance means only 10% LipiSperse® is required with an impressive 90% active load, the largest active/nutrient ratio in a water dispersible formulation.

LipiSperse® advantages

  • higher active loads

  • optimised bioavailability

  • improved functionality

  • higher efficacy

  • clinically validated

  • water dispersible

Published Studies

HydroCurc®+ decreasing joint pain and improving quality of life

This 2 week study demonstrated that a single dose of HydroCurc®, the bioavailable curcumin is an effective option for rapidly reducing joint pain.

Line graph titled 'Morning VAS score' showing the change in VAS scores over 14 days, comparing Curcumin and Placebo groups. Curcumin group shows a decreasing trend reaching about -15, while Placebo group remains relatively stable around 0. Marked with asterisks on days 11 to 13 indicating statistically significant differences.

HydroCurc® + FS iron, Reduces inflammation markers

The 3rd study by University of Westminster study on HydroCurc® co-supplemented with Ferrous Sulphate, has shown a reduction in oxidative stress and systemic-inflammation.

Bar graph showing serum iron levels at baseline, mid-point, and end-point following supplementation, with data for different groups. Significant differences indicated by asterisks. HydroCurc

HydroCurc® + FS iron has not impairment on iron absorption

The 2nd study conducted by University of Westminster has demonstrated that supplementation of HydroCurc® with Ferrous Sulphate, does not negatively influence acute iron absorption in healthy adults.

Bar graph showing serum iron levels in different groups over time. The x-axis includes time points of 0 and 180 minutes, with color-coded bars representing five groups: FS0_Place, FS18_Place, FS18_Curc, FS65_Place, and FS65_Curc. The y-axis measures serum Fe in μmol/L, with levels increasing significantly in several groups at 180 minutes compared to baseline, indicated by asterisks.

Levagen®+ Palmitoyl-ethanolamide for reduced sleep disturbance

This study aimed to asses the impact on sleep measures when administered Levagen®+ at a 350mg dose. The findings support Levagen®+ as a potential sleeping aid capable of reducing sleep onset time and improving cognition on waking.

Line graph showing changes in sleep latency over days, comparing placebo and PEA treatments with error bars and trend lines. Placebo remains steady around zero, while PEA decreases significantly, indicated by asterisks. Levagen®+

VeriSperse® Trans -resveratrol optimised with LipiSperse® increases bioavailability

This study showed that a single dose of trans-resveratrol with LipiSperse® resulted in a 1.6-fold increase in resveratrol-sulfate conjugate, and a 2-fold increase in glucuronide conjugate.

Line graph showing plasma absorption of trans-resveratrol-4-sulfate over 8 hours, with purple and blue lines indicating different data sets. VeriSperse

HydroCurc® Improves Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness and Postexercise Lactate Accumulation

The efficacy of curcumin supplementation is traditionally limited due to its poor bioavailability, however HydroCurc® curcumin has been shown to improve biomarkers of muscle damage post exercise.

Bar graph showing DOMS scores for HydroCurc and Placebo over different hours post-exercise, with higher scores at 24 hours for both.

HydroCurc® taken with FS iron increases BDNF serum levels

A large study conducted at Westminster University has shown that supplementing HydroCurc® with iron significantly increases serum BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor) levels which cross the blood brain barrier, essential for neuronal health.

Diagram showing a human trial of iron and bioavailable curcumin supplement called Hydrocurc, illustrating the supplement's effects on serum BDNF levels and neuronal function, including a bar graph with data points and a brain puzzle graphic.

Levagen®+ increases bioavailability of PEA formulating with LipiSperse® technology

LipiSperse® dispersion technology as Levagen®+ has been used in a pharmacokinetic study to evaluate the absorption of Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA-Levagen®).

Line graph showing PEA plasma concentration over time, comparing PEA Levagen and PEA Standard, with different peak levels at various time points. Levagen®+

Levagen®+ aids in muscle recovery

The study aimed to compare the bioavailability of a single dose of commercially available PEA with LipiSperse® (the delivery complex) in an Exercise Study, demonstrating Levagen®+ aids in muscle recovery.

Bar graph comparing total AUC (0-6h) for PEA Standard Powder and PEA CWD 90 with LipiSperse, showing higher AUC for the latter. Levagen+

Levagen®+ a treatment for reducing pain and other symptoms of knee osteoarthritis

The study was to assess the safety, tolerability and efficacy of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) when dosed at 300mg & 600mg per day on symptoms of knee osteoarthritis.

Four line graphs showing WOMAC scores for pain, total score, stiffness, and function over time, comparing Levagen 300mg, Levagen 600mg, and placebo treatment groups.

HydroCurc® increases bioavailability of curcumin with LipiSperse®

The aim of this study was to investigate the pharmacokinetics of HydroCurc® (a commercially available curcumin extract), with or without the curcumin-LipiSperse® delivery complex.
